Huw brings over 25 years of experience working in Africa, specialising in leading small, personalised safaris and expeditions in the Great Rift Valley regions of Zambia, Tanzania, and Malawi.

He also has extensive experience training safari guides in Zambia and Western Tanzania.

Huw has led expeditions across diverse landscapes, including the Luangwa and Zambezi Valleys, as well as the Northern Circuit areas of Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the Serengeti in Tanzania.

Beyond his safari leadership, Huw has made significant contributions to social development projects for rural communities. He founded the Virtual Doctors charity, the leading telemedicine charity in the UK and Zambia, which supports remote diagnosis and treatment advice in over three hundred health centres and hospitals across Zambia and Malawi, serving a population of over four million people without direct access to a doctor.

Huw is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and holds an MSc in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia.
